Dennis Paulson

Dennis Paulson is a retired 30-year member of the Vancouver Police Department where he oversaw the departmental polygraph section in his last few years as a police officer. He retired in 2004.

He was trained at the RCMP Polygraph School in Ottawa in 1999 and was certified as a Polygraph Examiner in 2000.

His police career includes instructing a variety of courses within the Vancouver Police Department training section, instructing recruit and advanced training at the JIBC and 16 years as a Detective in intelligence and criminal investigation sections. Major crime positions include sexual offense section and homicide.

He has instructed officers in several police departments and at the Justice Institute BC in interviewing and interrogation and at the Canadian Police College Polygraph Education Training. He developed and participated in the Vancouver Police Forensic interview team. Dennis developed pre-employment screening examinations for Vancouver recruiting section and civilian intercept monitors.

Dennis presently is a licensed private investigator. He offers his services with polygraph examinations for private industry, law firms, therapists, individuals and pre-employment screening for local police departments, government agencies and businesses.

Dennis continues his career as a polygraph examiner with LorDen Polygraph Services.
Dennis is current with all polygraph technologies and training. He participates in annual training courses in Canada and the Unites States.
